Hello, Sunshine!

We are Don and Mendy from Indiana. We have three grown children, two daughter-in-laws, five grandchildren, a bunch of exchange students we consider family, thirty-seven years together, and a love for the Fort Myers Beach area.

We have been blessed so many times in thirty-seven years, and this condo is just the latest example. After vacationing for years in the area, we have dreamed of having an address of our own. A very generous friend, whom we considered family, made us promise we would carry out our plans. "The Sunnyside" is a tribute to her and a place for making memories.

We are shellers. Simply walking for hours looking for the treasures God sends on to the beach is a vacation for us. We love sitting at the pool watching grandkids swim, waiting for manatees and dolphins to show themselves at the beach or channels, and  finding the perfect place to watch the sunset. We are looking forward to doing every one of these things at our new place for years to come and are hoping you will plan to do your favorites here as well.
